Welcome everyone to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s PRCA Rodeo. I am Caitlin Eberhardt, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Rodeo Jr. Miss Queen for 2009. I am a Highland native, fifteen years old and a sophomore in high school. I have loved horses and rodeo for as long as I can remember. Amazingly, I have attended all ten years of this great rodeo and am especially excited to be the Jr. Miss during the ten year anniversary. I first participated in this rodeo when I was just five years old; my experience was unique as I was the only mutton buster to end up in a giant mud puddle! As Jr. Queen I am looking forward to other unique experiences (minus the mud hopefully!). I am currently training to participate in additional rodeo events including barrel racing, roping, and goat tying. When I am not participating in rodeo or training activities I am active in my school and community with sports, high academic achievement, and volunteerism. I aim to represent San Bernardino County, Sheriff Personnel, and the Great Sport of Rodeo with dignity and joy. Lastly, I would like to thank my sponsors, family, and the Sheriff’s Rodeo for all of their support!
